Brembo brake pads rattling

Brembo brake pads rattling
I have read that this can be somewhat common on the XJRs, and it is driving me nuts. Makes this great car sound like junk. I can wiggle the pads with my finger, so I know they are really loose. So the question is, how best to fix it? Are the retention clips available from Brembo or Jaguar? Do I just use a dab of adhesive to stick them to the calipers? (Yikes!)
Any ideas? I haven't taken them apart yet, so the answer may be self-evident when I do. Just thought someone here might know.

Well, I took the brake pads out to inspect the situation. Gotta love Brembo brakes. They are so easy to work on. Everything seemed as it should. Are these pads just predisposed to rattling? I didn't see anything I could improve to stop the issue.
I did however, notice the edge of both pads looking strangely worn. Anyone know what this is all about?

I don't know about the unusual wear on the edges - that could be sue to the rattling rather than causing the rattling. I used Disc Brake Quiet on the back of the pads to help them "stick" to the calipers - although they don't actually stick as much as create a layer of rubberized material to dampen the vibrations between the pads and the calipers. I got it at Autozone - pretty cheap but I don't remember how much. Just dab it on the back and replace the pads - let it cure. Worked for me.
