Heater hose part number?

Heater hose part number?
I have been searching the forums for an answer, but I can't figure out a way to be sure of the part I need without going to the dealer and pointing to the part on my car I need.
I can explain it, but the schematics and parts diagrams I have seen aren't clear which part is which. (this is only available as OEM, correct?)
What I need is this: The rubber hose that connects to the lower aluminum heater core hose at the radiator end. This is for my 2004 XJR - in case my new sig line doesn't work.
I have developed a leak in the past 50 miles and can see it dripping right at the connection with the car running. I want to fix it, and change my serpentine belt/pulleys (thanks forum for p/n's) over the holiday break.... just need to get the heater hose. Am hoping I can identify/purchase it on line for a little less than driving 50 miles to the dealer.
Thanks - in advance - for all your help!!!

Hi cxk-in_Pnw,
If the hose you need is Part 5 in the diagram below, the Jaguar part number is C2C1984. I obtained this information from the Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), which you can download free from this forum and install on your computer. This diagram is from the Air Conditioning/Heating/Ventilation/Pipes and Hoses section:
If that's not the hose you're looking for, let me know if it's any of the others on this diagram and I'll be happy to look up a part number for you. One of our hoses sprang a leak recently and another was ballooned, so I replaced all the engine coolant and heater hoses preemptively. I still have the supercharger cooling hoses to replace.
Cheers,
Don

Thanks for the quick reply Don!! You provided a great pic of the assortment of hoses - now I just need to look under the hood to verify.
One issue though - I looked up on Ebay the p/n you gave me and it came up as hose number 4 on your picture, not number 5.

Can you double check? I will check under my hood this evening to verify which hose I need.
Thanks again!!

Hi Charlie,
I can't speak for the accuracy of any eBay sellers, but the Electronic Parts Catalog shows that hose #5 in the diagram I posted earlier is C2C1984.
The other reference you could consult is jaguarmerriamparts.com, the Jaguar dealer in Merriam, Kansas, that sells OE parts online at discount prices. Just a quick search for parts for an '04 XJR came up with this parts diagram:
2004 Jaguar XJR Parts - Jaguar Parts Center - Call (800) 510-1401 for Genuine Jaguar Parts and Accessories
Hose #10 in that diagram could possibly be the one you need, but the part number given is C2C1976. It looks like that hose connects one of the metal heater pipes with the air conditioning water pump. The diagram from the EPC doesn't show where the hose connects. If I were you, I would call Jaguar Merriam (Aristocrat Motors) at the number on their website and seek their assistance. I'm mostly dealt with Tom, and he's been very helpful.
One of the issues we deal with is that the coolant hoses for the N/A and S/C cars are different, so we have to be certain we're looking a a diagram that matches the arrangement on our XJRs.
Cheers,
Don

I would be inclined to go with the parts catalogue. Both these established sellers of Jaguar parts show the same one as Don offered:
JAGUAR XJ (XJR) HEATER FEED HOSE C2C1984 in Air Conditioning Heating/Ventilation
SNG Barrat show the same:
SNG Barratt - The Ultimate Jaguar Parts Specialist

Thanks guys, I agree, the ebay seller was incorrect. I'm guessing the ebay seller meant to identify part #10 from Don's second pic, and accidently posted Don's first pic in their auction. I got a dealer to show me an actual picture of the part with the part number: C2C1984.
Thanks for the help, I will be installing the hose, and belts/pulleys next weekend. I think I got the pulley situation figured out: new idler and tensioner pully for serpentine belt, and belt/pulleys for supercharger. (still need to check if SC pulleys are required)
Thanks again - Merry Christmas!
