Default anyone know what these Claimed Field Service Actions are?

Found this in the paperwork with my car, I knew the selling dealer was Alpine Jaguar in Miami, but I hadn't noticed the "Claimed Field Service Actions" previously.

Looked up these dealers, Millennium Motor Car is outside Philly (and does not seem to have a service department), Jaguar Chantilly is outside DC, and Jaguar Latham is (was) near Albany, NY. Anyone know how to decipher those field action codes? Not sure why there would be only 3 on the list, I have a partial history on the car before 33k miles, there was more stuff than that on there.

Hard to know every manufacturers language but it sounds to me like a factory service rep. authorization for work done above a certain $ amount while under warranty or beyond the expiration of the applicable warranty.

In the case you posted it was for a sublet paint problem repair at about 45 months into a 4 year warranty. This type of repair, even under warranty, quite often requires a field rep. to inspect and authorize so as to avoid any misuse of the warranty by either the owner OR the dealer. Unfortunately there have been dealers caught who would use a customers vin # to manufacture a bogus claim to either line their own pockets or to cover some other out of warranty problem for another customer.

R726 is a recall for a replacement of the fuel tank:

POTENTIAL FUEL LEAK FROM FUEL TANK SEALS
Situation: An issue has been identified on certain 2006 and 2007 Model Year XJ vehicles in the VIN Range G49701 to H13485 imported into the United States and Canada. It is possible that some fuel tanks were not made to specification. The out-of-specification condition may prevent the fuel delivery module (FDM), jet pump module (JPM) and/or cluster valve (CV) seals from adequately sealing. The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) may illuminate and the vehicle may exhibit a fuel odor. Particularly after completely refueling, liquid fuel may leak onto the ground. Liquid fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire.

Action: Sold vehicles will be subject to the standard customer recall notification to be issued the week of October 29th. Refer to Service Administration Bulletin 7-38USA or 7-38CAN "Safety Recall R726 – Fuel Tank Replacement" for additional information. Dealers are to remove the existing tank on affected vehicles and replace it with a new specification tank assembly as outlined in the Repair Procedure section of this bulletin.

Thank you all for the replies! Good information.

So that sheet was printed when the car was sold as a CPO at 33k miles. I talked to the original dealer in Miami, who told me some of the warranty repairs made up to about 20k miles. There were more than the 3 listed above--so I guess those are set in that dealer's system, but the 3 above are in a global Jaguar database? I can understand the first two being before the car was sold, but the 10k service?

Thanks,
-Michael
