Is it safe to assume that the gas and brake pedal covers are also a "Drill and Screw" install?

I bought these way back after getting my SS when I was looking for a dead pedal. I ended up going with the OEM standalone dead pedal (from F-Type) instead as it matched those already on the SS (see post#2 in this thread).

I just took this pick of the package contents... still unopened. Definitely screws in all three pieces.

You can go to the vendor's eBay site and ask him if he will engrave them for you. I doubt that he will, but if you don't ask you don't get. He will probably think you're the copyright police trying to trap him.

Grizzly - do you know how far the bear ran into the woods?
Just out of shotgun range...., or to the nearest out house.

Default Nope

How far did the bear run into the woods? According to Yogi, halfway. Beyond that, he was on his way out.

Yes my 2014 XJR had the fancy pedals as stock equipment but no dead pedal. Following this thread I got part #T2R11322. Too expensive at $140!!

But it does match the brake and gas pedal and feels great with my foot resting on it.

Completes the look of the car under the dash and it should have come stock.

A $140 accessory is pocket change for a $100K+ XJR. The road of life is short, so enjoy the ride! Spend it while you have it because you can't take it with you.

But if you want it to be a truly sad day when you reach the end of the road, be sure to take the access codes with you!

Just to give those interested an update, i ordered the pedals with the Jaguar logo from the seller mentioned, carforyou11, and received them today. They look exactly like the ones RoonieQ posted, hardware and everything. They do feel pretty good quality, heavy, solid metal.

The seller was good and i got them pretty quickly. I havent installed them yet but I am expecting the same results as everyone else.

Installed mine today. You must be a midget with extra finger joints to put those tiny washers and nuts on the back of the screws! I got some of the washers on. I noted that the brake cover is narrower and longer than the stock pad ergo you need to offset it to the left to prevent hooking it with your right foot when releasing the accelerator. I was surprised to find the accelerator pad and arm is one molded piece of plastic.

i thought that was strange too. the brake is metal, but im sure that is a regulation. i did like how the brake pedal had a little bit of a lip on it on the gas pedal side, so it was less likely to have your foot go under the brake. i was trying to figure out a way to transfer that onto the new pedal, but after having them a few months i havent noticed any issues but i did the same as you said, offset it just a bit. if you take your time, you can actually "adjust" both pedals somewhat to make them more to your liking. just get it right the first time.

side note: I am thrilled our gas pedals arent hinged on the floor like a lot of European cars. i like this feel sooo much better.

Contact the Seller (in China) through Ebay and ask him to make a set for you engraved XJ. If he won't do so, ask him for a blank set with no engraving.

Default UK pedal covers don’t fit

I have a 2017 F-Type S with a manual gear box and was super excited to see that RimmerBros.com had a good deal on the 3 pedal cover set. Just got them in and….they do not fit. I guess US pedals are longer. Who knew? 🤷🏾‍♂️

RHD - C2D8416 MSRP: $149.75 available online for less
LHD - C2D8415
NOTE: THERE IS NO FOOTREST/DEAD PEDAL!

From the Mina Gallery catalog: $159.00 Jaguar XJ & XJR Sport Alloy Pedal Upgrade 3pcs kit - Mina Gallery Inc

"Aluminum pedals kit for the Jaguar XJ8 & XJR (Mina Gallery or R center emblem) 2004-2009 models." $159.00 including the footrest/dead pedal. I'm not sure if they offer pedal covers for 2011-up X351 models.

LAST, BUT NOT LEAST: HERE'S WHAT I DID:
BEFORE

AFTER:

Cost $26.80 for all 3 aluminum/rubber pedal covers engraved with JAGUAR and the Leaper logo, from China and worth the wait! I couldn't believe how nice they were when I opened the package - they exceeded my expectations! I expected junk at that price but got heavy duty aluminum with separate thick rubber backing and all screws, fasteners, and tools needed for DIY installation (except a power drill and bits). It took me less than 30 minutes to install everything. Simply line up the covers over the pedals (you don't have to remove them), drill the holes, and bolt them on to the accelerator and brake pedals. The footrest/dead pedal simply screws through the carpet and into the floor with self-tapping screws. I didn't hit anything underneath.

Available on eBay: At Fuel Brake Foot Rest Pedals Sport for Jaguar Foot Pedals | eBay

I have no interest in this vendor; just bringing these pedal covers to your attention because I believe they are a great deal!

If this was helpful, please click "Thanks" on the bottom right of this post.
