Default Glove box door catch

It is a ridiculously tiny imperfection, but the left hand side of the glove box door sags out about ½".
I was told a fairy story about there being a bulletin about it from Jag here in Texas, but I didn't find anything on a quick search.
Having just bought the car, I am in the throws of trying to get it back to cherry, with a new headliner going in today, new rubber, and a full service/oil change etc tomorrow.

Mine does the same thing and it annoys me too! I just haven't gotten around to searching for a solution. The outer layer is coming unattached from the glove box and leaving a gap.

Figured I would throw up a picture to see if it's the same issue you are having.

Sorry for the multiple posts - the picture was in the wrong format and didn't attach to my previous posting.

Exactly the same problem. It is so idiotically frustrating.

I don't have a problem with it closing or latching - it's just separating. It's really more aesthetics than anything else. The glovebox closes and latches properly.

Default Thanks

Sorry, esloser, mine is actually a catch issue, but looks exactly like your photo.
dmhippy, that is what I thought might be out there, but I could not for the life of me find it.
I am going to try the solution in a few minutes and see how it goes.

I have the coming unglued problem. I want to try to glue mine back, so I would be interested in any recommendations on what kind of glue to use. It's just not bad enough for me to screw it up trying to fix it.
