hi everyone.
bought a tow hitch for my jaguar xj8 350 and as i have bought another
tow hitch erlier, but not for jaguar, but the same producer, i must say that they could put some more paint on it. the paint here is so thin so it will start to rust very fast, especially here in sweden there salt is used in winter season. now i need to put some paint on this and i decided to not to use spray can, as i want to have a thick paint on it. thule was the make of the original tow hitch for jaguar, and as it is not possible to get one from jaguar i must fix a own coverplate for the rear bumper, but i will not do that myself. a company will fix the tow hitch and another shall take a look at a cover plate... see what we can end this with... i think the rear bumper will need a new paint after this...

 

At least it was still available.

The models for the X308 has long disappeared from their catalog.

 

Have it powder coated, or use POR if you can get it there.

 

well, i dont bought it from jaguar, i got it from thule. the seller told me that it can be possible to make a special built of a tow hitch by thule, but they must buy 5 tow hitch.
maybe it is possible to fix tow hitch to some car if there is possible to make a order of 5 tow hitch...
