I looked into buying Suncore replacement springs, but ended up going with the New manufacture Arnott units. I did a lot of googling about Suncore, saw both good and bad reviews (mostly related to Lincoln Continental air springs).
My decision was swayed by the fact that Suncore are reman units. For $800 I could go with 2 new front Arnotts and know that the shocks inside were brand new, zero mile Bilstein dampers. I didn't want to pay $500 for the Suncore units with new air bladders, but someone else's worn out dampers. They might not leak air, but no shocks last 80-90k miles, not even Bilstein.
I can personally say that at 80k miles my OE shocks were completely trashed. The new ones are a night and day difference in ride and handling.

Some feel these electronic shock never wear out. Just the bladder fails.
The air struts on Audi A8's seem to outlast the Jaguar shocks. They are larger. And even more expensive.
My
Personal experience matched yours. Replaced original XJR shocks at 99,000 with old shocks with 32,000 miles. Much more dampening with the lower mileage units.
I think today lots of shocks go over 100k miles and still have dampening. But maybe not Jaguar air struts.

CATS will only come into play when cornering or accel/decel. Just cruising down the highway the shocks will be in "normal" soft mode, and if they're worn out because of lost fluid or lost gas charge, then they're going to be poor performing shocks either way.
I just know personally I would not buy a used shock with 70k+ miles on it. Rebuilt air springs only make sense to me if you know the shock only has 30-50k miles on it.
