How many foot pounds to torque down wheels?
Anyone know the factory recommended torque specs for tightening wheels on? I plan on rotating my tires soon. I have the factory comprehensive manual on CD-ROM, but it takes about an hour to find an answer to even the simplest question. Hence making it pretty useless.
Is there a site that has this kind of generic information? I need to know what the torque specs are for my Honda too.
Thanks in advance.

65-75 is correct. I use 70. I have heard that too tight can cause the brake rotor to warp. I suppose that on some cars this is true, while others it may not be much of a concern. I know I could tighten the lugs on my 69 Lincoln till just before the stud snapped and it would not affect the rotors. I avoid re-engineering the car. Some guy spent a lot of time in college getting his degree, then spent a lot of time testing what worked best. Sure that guy could have made a mistake, or had to compromise for cost or EPA concerns, but for something like this? 65-75 works for me.
