Only 1/2 year? I bought new O2 sensors for my car. One day I realised the car had been idle in the garage for 2 years waiting for me to get round to fitting them! Then there was the rear seal on the trans, exhaust pipe, radiator mounts......

59, this is my first and probably only Jag I got it back in 1999 for my wife. At first I didn't really like it as I had two BMW 7's but it's kind of grown on me as it looks so classic now compared to everything else out there. I do some of my own work, but I have a good garage within walking distance and with the help of this forum I keep it going. I was talking to a friend of mine last week and he asked me about the condition and I said it was stable, he started laughing and said that sounded like a person. Anyway there is always something to fix, but the engine and tranny seem to be bullet proof and there is nothing better than taking it out for a blow out run on the highway...........

58 and refuse to grow up. I wanted an XKE since I could remember, 1972 I told the local dealer I was going to have one. I was 14. At 18 I drove the Boss' XJS and was blown away. Life and kids got in the way, about a year ago I got my own XJS and i'm in the process of stuffing a 600+ hp 460 Ford down it's throat. I'm to young to go slow, and with a last name Like "Shelby". it just seems natural to shove a big Ford V8 into a British sports car. Hence the name Jacobra!

The calendar says I am 69. My head says 55.

Been driving Jags since I bought a 1982 XJ6. Drove it for thirteen years then gave it to my son who drove it through high school, college, and med. school. Bought a 1995 X300 in '95 and still have it and drove it today. Three years ago I bought a '96 VDP b/c it only had 93K miles.

So I'm very high on Jags. Especially the X300.
