Default x300 Idling Issues

Hello All,i need help.Ive been working on my 97 xj6 and im at a loss now.Ive been having issues with stalling at stops. So i removed the throttle body and cleaned the egr valve the throttle body and the idle air control stepper motor. After doing this now it runs at very high rpms in park and nuetral.Almost 2000 rpms.So i may have fixed an idling issue and the stalling but now it dosnt want to go when i push the pedal down. There is really just no go anymore.Any help or suggestions would be great.Im totally on my own and there is no jaguar mechanics any where near here.Any help would be awesome i love jaguars but dont know what to do and its my first one and im starting to hate them lol. Thanks to all who reply and help and keep this community strong.

First check to be sure the throttle cable is not too tight.

Make sure you have the idle stepper valve and the TPS installed right. Disassemble the connectors and inspect for bent pins. Make sure the throttle is closing to the closed screw.

Do you have any OBD codes?

It might even take a few drive cycles to re-calibrate the ecu after running without the TPS! Just for good measure, I would do a hard boot. (Disconnect the battery for a few seconds and reconnect)
