as per what I have seen here I am about ready to order an additional fob. I have heard othes comment on the importance of buying a usa and not european. Looking at e-bay for the purchase. here is my fob info:

LJA2610AA 315mh(small 3)

FCC ID:K6K8597T315

Canada 2145101790

my specific question is..there any difference in the ability of the fob to work in usa(new jersey)even though it has a canada number?....or can you just verify that its ok for me to purchase the LJA2610AA.

That question made me check my preconceived ideas on fobs!

According to the Parts Catalogue, 315 mhz fobs are the same for US, Canada and Mexico. The only complication is a change at VIN F20645:

LJA2610AA up to VIN F20644 and LJE2610AB from then on.

grahm...thanks for that....off the drivers side door....last 6 on the vin is F10651 so than it looks as though i can/should order the LJA2610AA....please confirm....and thanks again
