"Brave of you to be using 90's British automotive engineering in the winter....
Hope that underseal has been refreshed."

The cat wants out of garage once per winter. Dry -20C day is best time to do it and drive just unsalted small roads - even professional rust proofing has been done every 4-5 years.

Thank you for the advise. I test drove it when the weather was really good. for two weeks now its raining and its sitting in the garage for some minor works. Once I take it back i want to drive it and see how it feels. We are going to have constant rain up to April. i am not going to keep it sealed, I 'll drive it and enjoyed it at least twice per month. I had a look underneath it and everything looked OK.

I do know that these ladies are prima donnas and need attention (my father had one in the 80's and still curses about it. LOL)

Dimitri,

The rims are Jaguar OEM, and off a XKR, called "double fives".
They are 18" staggered, with 8J in the front and 9J in the rear.

I still see them popping up on various sites from time to time.

Although they came on the XKR in F245/45 & R255/45, I fitted 275/40 in the rear.
This gives the exact same sidewall height front and rear, as well as the same ratio between rim-width and tire-width.
The only modification you will need to do, is to 'halve' the rear bump-stop rubber.
I did not experience any ill effects from that over the last year.

Here are some more details:

That is one righteous looking motor, Eric. Very nice, and those rims really set it off very well.

Have a great summer while the rest of us here in the great white north are busy dodging arctic clippers and slush on the roads.

Default Sexy?

Not sure how "sexy" this is. Kind of like seeing a woman before she is fully ready to go out on the town.

Took some shots with my Gopro. Might be buying a lens for my phone so the pictures will be a better resolution next time! Nevertheless; the Jag still looks good!

A pic from British Car Day yesterday. Unfortunately I was too lazy to put the BBS Detroits on, but if I'm completely honest, these do look nicer. Just a pity they won't clear the Brembos

He's made a small write up of the day, and has HEAPS of photos of the cars there, including plenty of Jags at the start of pt2

Liking that a lot, but then again I would, looks just like my x308 did.
