Very glad that worked out as well, and inexpensively, as it did! The swapped sensor leads have come up before but the coils probably confused the whole situation. So many many issues after a major repair are a sure sign of something not put back correctly.

Anyway, you made a lot of new friends.

Ditto on being glad you found a good shop for help and an inexpensive fix. I actually thought it would be hard to mix those O2 sensor leads, thinking it would be hard to reach the left bank to the right bank connector. I will label mine, as I am in the process of disconnecting them right now.

Anyway... Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy some trouble free miles now.

Default Bosch VS NGK

Thanks JWT, funny thing about was the Chuck the shop owner of British independent , he is the one noticed and asked has anyone worked on the tranny, So the answer to your question is yes I guess you can connect the incorrect!!! so label them all few minutes of work will worth time and save you same 5 days of headaches!!

One more question I told him I replaced plugs with Bosch and he told in his shop he only uses NGK and for my 2001 Jaguar XJ8 he only recommends NGK 7866 Iridium plug, he old me to replace the plugs with NGK 7866 , but at $20 per each one , it little $$$ so can I use NGK Iridium IX BKR5EIX-11 (5464). they are cost $7 per plug, what type of plugs do you guys using! Thanks
