Haven't done anything to the car but its been three days since i've had Sport Mode on and the restricted performance is gone. But when Sport Mode is off restricted performance and misfiring happens.

Ok might have said that too early. Restricted Performance along with FLASHING MIL! I said oh **** and went home shut the car off. 20 mins ago I went to AutoZone to get the codes (Blinking stopped but it was lit) and I have a pic of the results.

Severe misfires, so bad that cat damage is occurring. Avoid driving until fixed.

Fix cyl #3 ASAP. Could be wiring etc but is usually the coil.

I don't know if this is necessarily related, but if it continues causing issues while the aircon is in certain settings, you could check for thrown codes in the climate control unit. I found this recently while looking around for unrelated things https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...54/#post454861

It looks like the codes are stored even after repair, so you'd need to clear any existing codes, then drive around in a case which causes the known problem, then check for climate codes again.

At least you know which cylinders are acting up now, cyl3 shows codes related to the coil pack circuit failure. I'd try replacing the cyl 1 coil pack as well, or at least, if you have a scanner, swapping that coil to another cylinder and reading for a misfire there.
