Anyone knows who has a twin-screw from Eurotoys?
I may have good news for them, especially if they have an AJ26 engine. This particular kit from Mike (Eurotoys) with the 2.1L KB, is not made for good airflow, but more for an easy sell unfortunately.
The intake of the twin-screw is actually blocked for about 30% as he doesn't modify the intake elbow so it matches the intake of the twin-screw. This means you will have to spin the crap out of it to get some decent power. This is also why Mike has to say that it is a very noise setup, and that is with cruise so even before boost!
But now to the good news for these owners, I have made a couple of handmade 2.6L twin-screw kits a couple of years back, where I did work on optimum airflow and a matching inatke elbow to the twin-screw, and these can be made to fit to the 2.1L setup from Mike.
This will increase the power substantially, would guess at least 40% above of what Mikes kit can deliver, yet can be run at modest speed thus lowering the noise at cruise, and be more fuel efficient at the same time.
There are at least 2 owners who have my handmade kit would like to install my latest version, and they are prepared to sell the parts (not the twin-screw, but the whole intake system) for a reasonable price. It can be made to fit relatively easy to the 2.1L from Mike, and I will of course discuss all the details, and provide all the support needed.
