Wing Emblem.

That's broken I'm afraid. You could probably get a new one on eBay cheap, there is a UK seller selling them at about £10 NOS. The UK cars never had them because we have side repeaters, so he won't sell them.
It should also have a wire plugged into it, the idea of this is to replace the side repeater by blanking it. You could fit side repeaters if you wished, the boot lights are the same with clear lenses or you could get traditional orange ones easily.

The wiring should be there behind the wing with a plug on, just plugs straight in.
One of the clips is broken on your emblem, these push down as you insert it into the wing and pop back up once in place. The side repeaters work in the same way, so if you look in your owners manual you may be able to find directions on how to do it.

My badges are almost the same way, the badge itself is spotless but the whole assembly is barely staying in. Clips are probably about to fall off...
I've looked at a few x308's in the junkyard and I believe I saw only one where the system seemed pre-wired, but the wiring plugged into the unlit side emblem. I think that was on the '98 MY one I saw, but I can't remember for sure. Repeaters are definitely something I'd like to do soon. Not sure about using trunk lights as a replacement, but maybe x300 ones or something.

The easiest way I see for repair is to use black silicon...a small bead around the edge of the badge, put in place and hold with a piece of tape until it sets.
Wipe away excess while wet.
You wouldn't know the difference ;o)

I am probably the wrong guy to ask, as you in the States have 15 types for each and every application, where here we have 2 local knock-offs.
However, I have a tube of black silicon, almost rubber like, which remains a little bit elastic, and is a kind of heat resistant.
It is horrible to apply, and you rally have to be careful not to spill anything, but it will hold forever.
In your case, as it is not surface to surface, but just the edges which will mate, something silicon it is probably better than a real, flat glue.

I removed mine and went with side repeaters. Luc is correct, the wiring is present on the right side on the US spec cars, but you need to run wire on the left.
I suppose the one you broke is on the left side? As for the ones I removed: My left side emblem is not in good shape, but the right is nearly perfect. You might also try eBay for a replacement.
