steering wheel

I don't know, but maybe you could find out by comparing part numbers of the 2 models upper steering shafts. If they are the same part then the spline should be the same. Try the Jaguar Heritage Trust, They have excellent parts blow- ups. Also Xks Unlimited has some good pics. Clear as mud? Be careful of the airbags! Good luck.

Hi Paul,
I don't know the answer to your question either, but Jerry's idea of checking the part numbers for the upper steering column is a very good one. In addition to the JDHT site (jaguarclassicparts.com) and XKs Unlimited, you can download the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog from this forum - just follow the instructions in this thread:

Jerry also mentions the airbags - you do want to be careful. On the XJ40s, the steering wheel airbag is mechanically activated, so there's no electrical connector. I don't know if the same is true of the X300 airbag. In case they're helpful, below are links to photos of work I've done on the steering wheel of our '93, which is probably similar to the one in your '94:

Please let us know when you learn whether the X300 wheel will fit in your '94. You might try posting your question in the X300 forum in case someone there may know.
Cheers,
Don
