How do i know its a real XJR
Hope you can help me.
Just bought a car that may or may not be an original XJ40 XJR, i'm picking it upp later, but is there away to sure its really one of the XJR / TWR cars ?
It has no battery in the engine bay and its a 93 model, read sticker in the front saying its a Jaguar Sport and the registration say it has 250 hp so some signs though, but is there a simple way for example chassi number check list ?
How many was there ?
Thanks :-)

I can se that it is one of them :-)
But its sick, it was about time we got our hands on this one ore it had died in the wrong hands it has been for the past 10 years, very little rust, engine and transmission runs very well, but everything under it seams loose electrical problems and a broken windshield, 3 rust atacked headlights but after 300 km home in it, it feels verymuch alive and fixable.
Its was for my sone to restore it for his 18 years birthday, after his 12 year sister bought an XJ40 (i will post her story, she needs help) in great need, he wanted one to, but we have serious talks about what it means keeping a special car original, so its a family car for now till he find out if he likes big wheels or original.
Here you have the first picture.
