Converting rear air suspension to regular spring and shocks
Hi there I'm a newbie here. I'm rebuilding a 1990 XJ(6) VanDen Plas. Does anyone has a breakdown how to convert the air suspension to regular coil and shocks or maybe know where to find these instructions. Can't seem to find any threads on this forum. I'm planning to use the KYB Kit 109 conversion kit with KYB shocks. Any help will be much appreciated.

Richard_gib: Thanks for the heads up. The car papers only say XJ. The engine is a 4.0L straight 6. I'll will check out the threads at XJ40 first before I post a thread again.

Also it is not air suspension, these things were hydraulic and a PITA so most people got rid of them.
