I like BRG. The darker the better. Like this near black D-Type. (yes, this is just a gratuitous excuse to run a pic of this gorgeous dream)

we have one close by, i see it sometimes coming out of the ritzy part of town!

altho it could be a replica, Donno.

but still looks super kool.

If only the factory hadn't burned down. I wonder if the E-Type would have ever been produced?

The E-Type seems like the logical conclusion to the D-Type to me. I'd have thought it probably could have come out a bit earlier if the fire hadn't slowed things down. I lament the loss of the race team more than the fire. I know Jaguar poured a lot of factory support to their favoured race teams (Ecurie Ecosse, Briggs Cunningham etc) after they officially quit racing in 56. But I think they could have achieved more as a factory team, & it would have livened up racing throughout the 60s.
