AJ16 Idle Control
I've been working on some idle issues and made this to summarize what I've figured out so far. I plan on expanding it to include test procedures for each component. Please make any comments to improve it or things to add etc.

Excellent diagram--thanks very much. I have two suggestions:
-arrows indicating exhaust gas flow could be red (blue = fresh air, red = hot gasses), as well as the flow of EGR gas through that pipe back to the intake side.
-add a legend to explain the acronyms IATS, IACV and so on. Then you can use the acronyms under the Common Causes of Idle Problems section, making it smaller.
I don't really want to wish you more bad weather, but if it results in more of these diagrams being posted...
Thanks again,
Greg
