Default Passive restraints

I have a 1989 XJS coupe and am also tired of the passive restraints. Mine are still operational, but have "hung up" a few times. Thankfully, they randomly began working again, but I'm interested in getting rid of them altogether. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Maybe contact someone like 3 Point Retractable Seat Belt with Chrome Seatbelt Buckle and see what they know.

The biggest obstacle is replacing those trim pieces, if you need to replace them anyway, now is a good chance to change it over. You can probably also take some belts out of another XJS, since it isn't a common item taken at yards, and replace the webbing is necessary.

One of my trim piece is broken atm and I have yet to find a replacement for it.
