Default Just a quick hello

As a recent purchaser of a 93 xjs I have a feeling I'll be spending quite a bit of time in here so figured I'd say Hello

Welcome to the forums! gj putting your cars info and even a pic up already! First timers always have an issue asking questions and noone knows what sort of car they have

Thanks folks. This isn't my foray into the forum world been a member of a ford truck forum for years so I at the least know the basics there . With the exception of 1 Subaru I owned for a brief period of time though this is my first experience with anything made "across the pond" as we say in the army. I have already done quite a bit of reading through the stickys here some great info!

I do have one question the highest octane gas we have here in Colorado is 91. Is that high enough, or is it worth running octane booster? I know these ole cats like the good stuff just wasn't sure how good.

I can't speak for everyone but my '96 runs fine on 89 or 91 octane. It may depend on the climate you live in. The hotter the more likely you will need 91. Just my humble opinion.
Cheers, RagJag
