Default Practical Classics XJS special edition

Guys
The UK magazine 'Practical Classics' has produced a special XJS guide. Lots of interesting stuff in it, including some of Malcolm Sayers' original design sketches. I believe the mag is sold throughout the "Empire' countries, but anyone who wants one can order one from them direct.

Thank you for posting this!

I just ordered both the standard edition and the special edition which includes a poster with what I believe is a cutaway view of the XJS.

BTW...here is the direct link to order these;

Partnership > store7526

I hope they wrap them nicely so they will survive the trip across the pond.

Received my already, pretty fast turn around. Just had a quick look but it looks like it has some interesting articles included. Nice cut away of the XJS included with the collectors edition.

I ordered one of each. Turns out it's the same magazine with a different cover. The collectors edition comes with a small cut away poster. Nice find though, thanks for making all of us aware this was available.

Mine arrived today. Reading them now.

In my Collectors Edition I noticed something interesting on page 3. There is what looks like a hand written note from Paul Skilleter that reads;

"Congratulations! You have bought the 300th and last book! Paul Skilleter"

Is mine the only one that has that note? Anyone else have a note on page 3?

I received mine on Friday #295 no note. I have read 3/4 of it. Love the poster it will be framed shortly and hanging prominently in my office. I'm wondering if I should order the other as well . Is there any additional information contained in it?

No need to order the standard edition. It has the same content as the collectors edition.

That being said, I am reading the standard edition so as not the put any wear on my collectors edition. Want to keep it nice. ;-)

I ordered mine Feb. 23, 2015 and received it today Mar. 3, 2015. My cost was 23 pounds (US $35.33). Really, Really nice magazine about a truly one of a kind automobile. Thanks for the heads up on this offer!

Yeah mine worked out to be $45 AUD including postage. I hope it is good cause it's bloody expensive for a magazine!
