Default Water drips on left foot

When I drive my coupe after it rains water runs into my left shoe. It happens while turning left. My foot is where the clutch would be depressed if I had a 5 speed. My car is lefthand drive.
Ive looked but cant find anything wet. The carpets are always dry. I remove carpet while not driving car. No puddle. No need for carpet to act like a sponge.

Remove the drain tube on the fender that lets water drain from the cowl and make sure it is clear

There are drain holes behind the front guards (fenders) both of mine were blocked with seam sealer.

These allow water to drain from the air intake where the wipers are. This is where the fresh air comes from and if these are blocked it causes water to pool in the corner and will lap over the sill lip and onto your feet.

TO get at it jack the car and remove the wheel, remove the inner cover behind the wheel and you can get in there with a wire coat hanger.

You bet, I have been places with my XJS - anyway

Another place to look is behind the black vent cover behind the rear quarter window. There is a plastic insert that is 2 pieces joined in the bottom corner if this leaks it will allow water to drain into the lower sill and into the radius arm causing rust.

To get it off the side window need to come out and the chrome trim behind the vent removed, then drill out the rivets. Then the whole thing was sealed up with polyurethane window sealant.

I have a few photos here.
