Default 'Your Mother Wouldn't Like It!'

Does anyone remember that killer Strap Line for the MGB.

Or in the Case of the 'e' Type, 'The Greatest Crumpet Catcher known to Man'

So to try and take your minds away from those 'Pesky Leapers' which you either Love or Hate!

Try and Imagine that 'Back in The Day' you were in Charge of the Advertising for 'The XJS'

What is The Killer Strap Line that you would come up with?

I think the ad campaign from the film Crazy People pretty much nailed it.

Remember it? My mother gave me this when I bought an MGB in 1987.

I loved that Quote, very 'Non PC' and way ahead of its time.

I was looking at that Poster only this Morning!

Was that for real?

Was that a Genuine Jaguar Advertising Campaign, or something just done for the Film?

Its really hard for me to try and believe that Advert is real!

Though back in the day before P.C. you could almost certainly get away with something like that!

It's still Lucas, the heater isn't working.
Don't forget that the 'high beams' have spent the last 35 years heading south!

Seeing as though there are very few of us who bought their XJS new, I always thought the BMW/(fake)Aston Martin ad for pre-owned cars was quite appropriate.

"You know you're not the first, but do you really care?"

In all the time I've had my MG I never gave the Electrical System a thought!

The Heater was blinking awful though!

Unlike the XJS which is hot enough to Cook an omelette!
