Default 1989 electrolux wiper motor cover

What does the 89 wiper motor cover look like? I pulled the motor and grill out to clear the drain holes and my plastic cover is two pieces with broken edges towards the middle so i cant tell if its normally two pieces or one piece that goes right across. Is supposed to be one piece?

Are you asking about the boot that covers the motor? I'll send pic of my spare motor when I get home on Saturday

Yes. The idea is to stop rainwater ruining the motor. Anything will do, eg a bit of plastic from an old container.

Yes. These two pieces of plastic locate directly under the wiper grille with the large holes going around the wiper posts that the wiper arms locate on. The motor itself didn't have a boot lile i say seen for sale for the pre he xjs lucas motors.

there's not a lot of room under the wiper motor between the motor and the grille.
