I just re built my Fuel Injector Wiring Harness:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ss-h-e-171613/
The old wire used I believe may have been OEM and the issue wasn't rodents but engine bay temperatures (as the harness sits in the Vee).
Lots of my wiring was crispsy particularly the insulation. You could see the copper on some sections and corrosion had started to form.
When I re-built mine I used GXL cable rated for engine bays. Should last me for ages now I hope!

There is really nothing to tune, its just a dead simple engine at heart once you get over the shock of what's under the Bonnet/Hood.
You just have to maintain it to keep it 'Up To Snuff' it took me Three days to change all the Spark Plugs but that was only the first time, the next time I'll do it in Two.
Everything is in the way, so I guess you could say its like Building a Ship in a Bottle.
Although assuming you can do that then the rewards of driving her just cannot be compared.
