Over the years I've inadvertently thrown out lots of things I wanted to keep...including, just recently, some parts for my XJ6-XJ12 conversion project. Gah!
Admitting the mistake is a good first step so you're well on your way to recovery.
Cheers

As for the keys you *might* be able to get key codes from the local Jag dealer and, using the codes, get new keys cut.
I'm not sure how long corporate Jaguar keeps such records and/or if dealers still have a way of accessing them.
Lacking that, remove the ignition lock cylinder and one door lock cylinder and take 'em to a locksmith and have new keys made
Cheers

Ha! My wife's mistake not mine! I got the key code off the back of the ignition and we'll see if the locksmith can cut one with that.

Oh me!!
But, listen up. Wifey's error is your error and vice versa. Been there,
both ways!!!
I do have a spare set of keys for a lot of things "stashed" away.
One of those unwritten laws. If you have it, you will not need it.
the converse is equally true !!!
Make a spare set !!!!!

oddly
mine had to have a set made so I could buy it... some one broke in the dealer and stole all the keys and took one of the cars (mustang) for a joy ride and all the keys... so my original key are tied up in some evidence locker some where...
still need a gas cap key: locksmith says he can do it for $45

I am so glad to hear that I thought they might....
as the door key they supplied is uncut on the end that goes into the gas cap...
the lock smith here did a jiggle and cut...
for all the keys takes a little skill... the tibe key for starting the car would work on the trunk and glove box... not the ignition: took another day before I could drive the car away
so I will have them fix the door keys to work with the gas cap...
nee to get them to do a valet key too...

They are just being difficult. There is even a part number for that. If you have proof of ownership and the VIN any dealer can get keys for you. (If they want to).
If this fails send an email explaining your problem to the good people at Jaguar Classic parts. And they will cut and send you the keys, including the valet if needed.

the mobile deal was very happy to talk to me... they told me they can do the round ign. keys but they are un able to do the flat keys... and the price for the TIBE key they gave me, took me aback... $10 us... so I told them I would drive over Memorial Day...
I later told my wife and then she considered it and told me we were going today.... after she got some rest....
I still have to get the door key cut to lock/unlock the fuel cap (on a convertible)

Yes
It was completely different from what it should have been
He looked up the code with my vin also and he got the same codes you supplied and he told me that it was.a white w blue interior convertible before I brought it around to the service area
I now have 3 ign keys
Will work in two weeks on the gas key
13.5 mpg on the way to the dealer
12.5 full round trip
Intra-city traffic and all
New tires were good
One or two blast high speed
