oh bummer! Bloody work blocks You Tube. I cant see it.

Ill have to check it out when i return home

Thanks for posting though.

Not sure if its the same in the video but he drives to Monaco then hands the keys over to another bloke to drive back. The writer tells how he blew a radiator hose and tried to duct tape it up but she keep blowing because of the pressure. He then took the pressure cap off and stuff a rag in the header cap.

Has anybody ever tried this to keep them out of a bind?

I just picked this up today. Nice write up. The best qualities of the car hold up even though it isn't the fastest car around it still is damn fast. The styling which was panned at first is appreciated more when compared to contemporary cars. I have mine parked next to my 07 Mustang and the XJS is so much lower substantial and wider looking. Jaguar World magazine also had a special issue a couple of months ago, I've got to order a copy through the mail. Is the XJS poised to 'take off?" I think that momentum is building but it will be awhile before they are hot commodities.

Octane magazine is at it again! The November issue has a great interview with Sir John Egan about saving Jaguar which the XJS played an important part. A great picture of Sir John sitting on the front of an XJS. When he was asked what he really thought of the styling of the XJS he replied"I began to like it a lot more when we began selling 10,000 a year." There was also a story of a Polish vacation business that keeps a stable of high end 1980's Euro cars for their guests use on their driving tours. Great shot of an XJS coupe with a MB 450 SL parked in front of the castle they use for the headquarters. All good stuff for the XJS image.
