Default What is the Minimum Thickness for the Rear Rotors?

Hi

I've got an MOT coming up and was wondering if someone could tell me the Minimum Thickness of the Rear Rotors allowed.

Rotor thickness is measured during an MOT? What do they do if they find one under minimum?

(Just asking, never heard of such a thing.)

Hi Mikey

It was more for my own peace of mind than anything else, as I have got one of those Calliper Gadgets and wanted to know how much allowable thickness I've got left.

OK, thanks.

Just for reference, the rotor minimum thickness is simply a value below which a garage must not refit the rotor to the vehicle during service. It's not an in-service limit.
