Default Floor pan heat shield

Hi all,
I have a damaged floor pan heat shield (aft of CCs, middle of car) that intermittenly rattles at low speed. No noise at highway speeds though. I want to go ahead and replace it, but for the life of me I cannot find a part number for the model year 2007-2009 4.2 N/A cars. I can find the part number for the 2010+ 5.0 cars easily enough. Anyone out there know the part number or is this heat shield interchangeable between the 4.2 and 5.0 cars?

I asked about the heat shield when I had the AC drain tube replaced at the dealership. The service advisor said they would just remove the heatshield and not bother with a replacement. Said they've done it to a few XKs already. This sounded like a bad idea so I told them just to leave it alone. Any thoughts on this?

Pic for clarification (not my car):

The same part number appears to have been used from the first of the XK's right up until VIN B48080. The 2012 MY started at VIN B44940 so it looks like most of the ones from 5.0L cars should fit as well.

I have been without mine for almost a year now, just got my replacement in the mail a few days ago. Plan on installing this winter when the car is back on the lift. I have a 2010, but the part I got was for 2012+. Only difference is it has a couple extra bolt holes that my oem doesnt, but otherwise identical.

I had mine up on the lift and dropped all the heat shields and put dynamat strategically on the underside(where the heat shield meets up with the body, and you would be shocked as to how SOLID the vehicle feels now over any kind of bumps. There are zero rattles of any kind now. This would also be a great solution for your challenge. Also, noticeably quieter in the cabin.

That rattle is usually from the exhaust mounts not the heat shield.
