That looks pretty slick. Not the cheapest thing in the world. You can get a full scissor lift for just a few hundred dollars more. And that will get you almost 5 feet in the air. But the scissor lift is barely portable. They probably weigh 500lbs or more.

I could really use this when I change my transmission fluid. Anyone in Charlotte, NC want to go 50/50 on one?

That was the color combo XK I was going to buy until the one I did buy fell onto my lap.

I'm not sure it's specified 3" collapsed height is low enough to slide under my car.
My hydraulic floor jack doesn't fit at the lift point behind the front wheels, I need to use the Jag jack from the trunk to lift the car just a bit, so I can get floor jack under, and then lift the car (coming down is easier, as the suspension doesn't fully compress immediately, so I can pull the jack out).

Referencing your using the Jag jack, Horrible Freight had a sale on extended reach, low profile jacks, They are very low and the extended reach is very helpful. I've had it for a couple of years now.
2 ton Low Profile/Long Reach Steel Heavy Duty Floor Jack with Rapid Pump®

Floor height of the saddle is approximately 4".

I think I will build one of these lifts, it will give me some much-needed puttering time in the shop with all the toys. Welder, grinder, drill press, heck, the entire tool box. I've been a bit lazy lately.

Thanks, I'll consider that. Measured my clearance and see I've got 5", so my floor jack isn't as compact as I thought, and the lift stand would work, although as said earlier, it's a bit pricey.
