'Standard' XKR is electronically limited to 155mph top speed. This is increased on the Speed Pack version to 174mph (although I have not checked that on mine yet!). The engine and transmission are recalibrated to enable the higher top speed although the power output remains the same.

This is at the entrance to Christchurch from the international airport, so I thought I would park another bit of Great Britain underneath it.

 

Looked for a long time for this year and model and then one popped up in Portland which was convenient so made the leap. Several service and cosmetic issues to address but nothing that takes away from my satisfaction of looking at those lines or getting behind the wheel.

 

I like these wheels...
