03 XKR convertible top not latching
Hey all I'm a new member to these forums but not at all a new reader. You guys have helped me solve several issues from the alien beacon they called an antenna to a misfiring coil pack.
This time however my baby suffered some damage and after the fix I have an issue I am unable to solve nor fin information on.
This summer the car was parked under a tree and a huge limb fell right on the windshield struts and mount. Luckily the top was down so after some location of parts and several body shops later here is where I am.
The car is repaired and honestly I can't even tell it happened. Except my top isn't working and the quarter windows will not roll up.
The pump is working I hear it kick on and I have made sure the fluid levels are correct. There are no leaks and when I open the petcock I am able to manually latch the top.
I feel it's a safety issue as during the testing and trouble shooting I was able to get the top to lift once. I had to manually latch it but it did go up on its own.
I pulled the head liner and found a small 2 pin blue connector that isn't connected and I have no clue where it connects too. I am wondering if it's a sensor for the top?
The connection is blue in color it has a green and white wire running to it and the pins are micro (lack of the correct term).
Any help would be appreciated. Also if you need more information I will do my best to supply it.
Thank you
David Collier

Hi Dave, you will see a few open plug connections here and there. The mico switches are important. these switches send the message as to where your top is in the sequence. Take the top plate off and view the function when you manually open and lock the top latch. Ck wire at these switchs for + .
