Default asking about front brake modification

Hi everyone
I have my 2000 XKR 5years have driven about 80,000km.
I love it but from the time I bought it I am not satisfied with its brake.
I have changed brake pad to "performance pad" but not enough.
If anyone have good idea to modify front brake caliper with small cost.(I know if I spend over US$2,000, I can fix 4 pods caliper on my Jag)

Now, I am thinking to use used mercedes's caliper for mine,(need to make caliper support for them)
Have any experience??

Really? My 03 stops very well. Are you looking to race it or just want cool looks?

Maybe a caliper is sticking or fluid needs replacing & bleeding properly. Could slo be a hose that bulges, reducing efficiency. Any competent mechanic can diagnose / fix.

Hi
Thank you for your advice
Yes my brake works normal with good maintenance but I believe high power engine with high performane brake can give me safer driving.
Because I always drive highway and am feeling mercedes's brake is better than my xkr's.

Well,
I will look for better method to get better performance and I will give you information back

I did Brembos for just over $1000
Used Brembos $450
Brake Performance rotors and pads $457
Goodridge lines $115

The faster you can stop, the faster you can drive!
