I wondered the same. Had to read instruction manual,I sometimes do that when all else fails. Car stepped out big time a over 100 KPH prompted a review of this
Appears that the little light is to warn you that it is OFF. I sort of got used to most cars having a light ON to indicate it is ON.
Some one please correct me if I read the manual backwards. Because the 'S' button shows red when it is ON as does the cruise. So the DSC appears to be the opposite.

Welcome to the forum.
It means there is likely a fault in the abs system and you have no control over rear wheel spin.
You need to have the codes read to know what specifically is wrong. Most generic code readers do not read abs system codes, so you may have to locate a foreign car specialist.
Are there any other warning lights showing?
