I can understand that,it's a jag, what's not to love. Even those little 'issues' that arise because it is a Jag make them more likeable.

Bit like an only child. But so worth it. I usually say 'enjoy' but you've already covered it.

Beautiful car, I can see why you'r in love. My wife wanted a 97 BRG coupe in Rapid
city S Dak with 68k for 6ooo but we decided on a convertible instead. Love the wheels. Didn't like the 97 revolver wheels on the S Dak car.

Out in the sunshine with the top down today as everyday. Over five years of ownership and about 100,000 miles of my driving it around, and I still love it. Like the looks even more than my 2010 XKR Coupe.

Coming back from late shopping today and got big thumbs up twice on the short drive home.

One of them was from a guy in an F-type convertible. Nice.

Always puts a smile on my face.

I am really jealous. Mine is going to have to stay hidden in the garage for another 3-4 months. sigh.

There seems to be an endless supply of compliments for these beautiful automobiles as I get them nearly everyday. But this past week, I received one that was particularly satisfying. I was stopped at a stoplight across the street from a junior high school right as school was letting out. As dozens of kids were crossing the street in front of me, one young man just couldn't contain his enthusiasm. As I had my top lowered, the youngster was telling me that "this was the coolest, most beautiful car I have ever seen!" He walked all the way around the car and just kept commenting at how great it was, he barely was able to get through the intersection, he was so enthralled. He may have been all of 13-14 years old, and it's rare for someone in this age group to appreciate "older" cars.

My car has found its greatest fan.

Tell me about it. I put about 50,000 miles on mine in a little over three years. Just couldn't stop going for rides! Some of them pretty long, too.

These are still among the best looking cars on the road ever. I got an unexpected compliment today when I drove over to pick up my mom (87 now and doing great) from her condo on Wilshire Boulevard. There are many quite well-to-do folks there with all sorts of fancy cars but my car always gets looks when I visit there. So today as I stop in the driveway and get out to pick her up, another woman who happened to be waiting comes walking over and exclaims "you have a beautiful car in a beautiful color" to which I thanked her (am always a bit embarrassed in situations like this). Again, what made this all the more rewarding was that there are much fancier high end cars at this condo.

I could not agree more! My third jag, first XK8. Had it for two months now and enjoy taking it to the local cars and coffee. I have always loved these cars and you can purchase low mileage examples for a song.

Well it's been a nice day here in Shreveport, so some friends and I made a run over to Tyler tx... Yes my 5'10" buddy sat crossed ways in the back! Lol

The car is showroom clean as always and she sounds GREAT! After leaving lunch we were all standing near the jag and I still can't believe all the looks and positive comments the car gets. It's like she's a Hollywood movie star!

And this is why I have concerns about selling it for a 2010 XKR. The car is gorgeous.

My sons good friend bought a f type. Awesome car. Fast, great sound and handle like on rails. 100000 dollar car. I rode in it a couple of months before I bought mine. I didn't buy mine because of riding in it. Fell into mine because I was looking for a convertable. Z28,tranam,corvette etc... My car has heart and soul.
If you know you know.

Hi ho Loxmth,

I agree with you. When I’m in my 2000 XK8, I always try to take the long way home. If the opportunity arises, I’m sure a lot of us would like to see a larger photo of your 2003.

And Paul Pavlik, I too have been lusting after your 2000 Green XKR coupe for years; It is one of the most handsome coupes I have ever seen. And thanks too, for your solid advice and suggestions over the years too.

All of us are so lucky to be driving such beautiful automobiles. Dreams do come true!

I've tryed to post pic but I'm not computer savy. It's probably easy I'm sure. I'll ask my son. I've tried with no success.
