Exclamation Hydraulic lines for Convertible top

My 04 XKR needs the Hydraulic lines replaced now.
I thought I saw an add for somebody who makes aftermarket lines somewhere. Does anyone know who that was?
I also remember seeing something about a different Hydraulic fluid to use. What was that?
Should have taken notes back then.
Cheers

If your interested I have a set of hydraulic lines and entire latch mechanism from an XKR I parted out last year. Good thing about this set is the whole thing must have been replaced at one point in time because the car a 2001, has the hose and latch set with a Jaguar date tag of January of 2005. Hoses look nearly new, not missing any sheathing material at all. Will ship for actual cost. $400. PM me or text me 513-235-6911 and I will send you pics of the set with sticker. Also have a nice set of beltline window exterior trim strips (the ones that always corrode badly) Not perfect but nice that I will let go for $200. Lots of other parts also, supercharger, 4.0 liter engine, body parts mirrors etc
Thanks Neil

I used Top Hydraulics out of Oregon on my '99 XK8. Sent both rams as well as header latch for better than new overhaul. In addition replaced all hoses supplied by Top Hydraulics. Hoses are thinner made out of a Kevlar type material and work great. No worries. Thinner lines made for easier install. Rich

You are parting out your XKR!? Do you have the front Hub and Carrier, Control Arms. Also need the rear Hub and Carrier. My 06 coupe has a lot of rust damage, bought it as a restoration project. What year is yours?

Yes, I posted it late summer in the 'Classified' area. Apparently not an area people look for parts they need. I have sold more looking through the posts at what people are having problem with and offering the parts!! Anyway, yes I have all of those parts at the moment. The car was a Texas car, look at my gallery at the silver car listed, (not the blue one with my busty wife in front of it). It was a silver 2000 XKR with 130K miles. Decent shape but had an overheated motor and part of the left rear quarter removed. Needed a few parts for my blue 2003 XKR, so I purchased this one. I do have all the front end suspension pieces and most of the rear. Let me know exactly what you need and I will send you some pics or post them on my gallery. Also do have the hoses and top latch you might need.
Thanks, Neil

Jules,
I'm looking for Rear Hub and Carrier (the thing with the wheel Bearing inside)
Front Hub and Vertical Link, upper and lower Wishbone (the whole front Steering Assembly sans Brake Rotors.
Assuming that your XKR had the "R" option Brakes.

Cheers

Hardy,
I assume you are referring to the large 'BREMBO' brakes as the R option. From my experience those brakes were available starting with the XKR100's in 2002 and then 2003 and up to 2006 on the XKR's. My parts car being a 2000 XKR does not have these. The front upper and lower control arms, once again from my experience are the same though. I have both right and left front hubs, upper and lower control arms. You are saying steering, does that mean you need the rack and pinion set up as well? Do you need the sway bar and links? I have both rear hubs, can't guarantee good bearings on any of these, but I do have them. If you want these parts I will remove them for shipping. Please let me know.

All my Hubs are so rusted that you can't replace the bearings. I was hoping to get the heavier "R" option Hubs for replacement. I can get regular Hubs closer to me. Will cross reference part numbers and get back to you. What is your asking price for all parts?

Cheers

Hardy, Do you want the front sway bar, rack and pinion unit?? If not, upper and lower control arms, both sides $200 plus shipping. All 4 hubs $200. Sway bar $50, rack and pinion $75, all shipped together. I can make a crate and anything else you need put in it and ship it ground freight. Your choice. Let me know.

HI,
Saw you are parting out an XKR. Do you have the 2 speaker boxes that go behind the back seat? I have an XK8 with the basic stereo and want to upgrade.

Neil

Prices sound good, wasn't quite ready to deal with this project yet. Just picked up my Jag at the shipping port, brought it back from Hawaii.
Let me look this over. Could you send a couple pics of the shape of the Hubs. If we are doing this I might need some other parts too.

Cheers

Dr. I dont really want to sell the speaker boxes with out the speakers as a set. It would make the rest unsellable.
