Antifreeze orange
Hi Guys and gals
I have upgraded my intercooler radiator quite an easy change except for the oil cooler securing nuts rusted on, why do you always ge one B..tard bolt you have to cut off...
Any way my car runs Orange antifreeze The specification is WSS-M97B44-D Is this the same as the red antifreeze with the same spec.
I just dont want to risk mixing them until i know. I have gone to 3 or 4 car shops and none of them have orange, only lots of other colours.
Thanks for the help
IanP

This coolant spec is a Ford number, just get it from a Ford dealer. The coolant should be orange as this is the color of OAT (Organic Acid Technlogy) antifreeze. The engine gaskets and fittings are designed to use this technology, don't stray from it. The brand name in the US is Dex-Cool.
