Don't you just love it then Original owners baby the car, only take it out when the weather is perfect and only put a few thousand miles on it a year while it depreciates off a cliff. Then "we" come along, buy the car for pennies on the dollar and say, "Thank you for taking care of my car", and then enjoy it DAILY! Mine had less than 10K a year put on it; I've done 20+K per year since then. Sweet.

Yep, that's the only way I've purchased any of our vehicles in nearly 20 years now. Taking that initial depreciation hit is a financial disaster and I simply refuse to do it....
