Question Cable Routing Help Needed -XK8 Conv

'06 XK8 Left-Hand Drive

I need to route a cable with a 1.5cm connector from the passenger compartment to the boot/trunk. I have the jump seat and fuel tank shield removed. There are several wire bundles that make this journey, but I haven't found a path to follow.

An insight will be appreciated.

Thanks!

If your top is down the path is pretty cramped.

Raise the top at least half way to give yourself more clearance and you can get them through along the passenger side.

Put your top down. Then remove the cover of the fuel tank in the boot/trunk, simply pulls off. Then look on the right hand side in the boot/trunk you should see a bit of day light. Find a long thin cane push it through till it appears on the inside of the car. Tape your wires to that. Pull it back through. Jobs a good un.

Thanks! I've managed to install a cord between the end locations. Progress!
