Default Cooling system flush

I want to flush and clean out the cooling system on my 98 XK8. I know Jag sells cooling system flush products and has a specific method to use with them. Does anyone have any recommendations for other products? White vinegar?

thanks
Will

Both Zerex and Prestone make very good products. The Jag flush is pricier but no better... IMHO.

Just follow the directions!!!!!, or you will be buying a radiator, and heater core also. The stuff is a little corrosive.......be cool....Mike

The active ingredient in coolant system flush is a weak acid. Household vineger is about four times the acid concentration of the flush.
