Default I feel like I discovered some secret technique - Endust on chrome wheels!

Incredible. I grabbed the wrong can, gave the wheel a shot . . . damn, wrong can. Wiped it off and wow. What a shine! It looked like I added a ton of nickel to the chrome. Try it. Be sure to spray and wipe. Don't let it sit on the chrome and dry up.

I remember my mom using Endust on the wooden furniture back in the 1960s. Didn't know that household product was still around....

Cyber3d, I've been watching to see if anyone added cautions, endorsements or anything. I am now officially intrigued, thanks for posting this. Today i looked at the Endust in the store, they claim to leave no buildup and are pretty liberal about where you can apply it. Given your endorsement I'll have to give it a try, looks like it costs $4.39 around here. Thanks, John

I sprayed it on a cloth and used that to wipe the chrome. My wheels were pretty dirty with brake pad dust and water spots.

Today, the wheels are still clean! Maybe it repels brake dust too!?!?

We used to wipe our motorcycle body work down with a product called Clean and Shine. Worked very well and with no abrasives did not wear down the paint. I had a buddy with an old Z-1 that still had great original paint, that was all he ever used. Used to use Pledge in a pinch but was a little oily. I think that Meguiars Quick Detailer would be okay to use on clean body work.

Hmm, did not know that. The one I have is the yellow can Endust: Dust & Clean Fast - Multi-Surface Dusting Spray (Lemon Zest).

The Endust sounds like it is worth trying. There is an Armor All product that you spray on after cleaning the wheels that is pretty good at keeping brake dust off, at least for a while but it is pretty pricey compared with a can of Endust.

Thanks Ungn
Seems that we're behind the times here in the Old Country. There must be something similar.
Now to raid my wife's polish cupboard.
