Default jag boat

Hello everybody
I'm in the process of swaping a jag engine into a jet boat
This is a glastron carlson 1978 originaly Ford 460 powered
I'm a Jag enthusiast & I will be very happy to achieve this project
I need some infos on the engine , AJ27 XKR

1 I can't find those engine ID numbers , there is this numbers by the engine
mounts but what are they ? I would check what year of building..

2 I need to start the engine , I may use a race prog ECU because the OEM
ECU seems hard to work on so I would need infos

3 & lots more !!

Here is the thread's link in a website dedicated to Jet boats
CVX JAG

Thanks for any help

I uploaded my Student Guide copy of the V8,V6 Engine Repair Course 168 to the forum and Gus has it on his site.

All the info you need about the AJ27 engine.

Thanks Bob

I'm looking for the engine data such as Ignition curves & injection map
This would help a lot to load the Sybele ECU box & be able to hear it roaring
this ECM is easy to work on with wide band O2
I have a stock ECU also but it seems hard to use jumping all the index et security system
I would start it on a motor bench to begin the mapping procedures
If someone could drop a file I would take all expenses on me

thanks again
