Low beam adjustment

Low beam adjustment
Hi guys, yesterday I decided to optimize the low beam angle so I can see far enough forward. Right now they point to the ground with enough distance for a comfortable 30 mph cruise in pitch black night.
I was happy to have the 1998 service addendum that shows the adjustment points. Here's the thing, I wound up adjusting the high beams! kind of funny driving around scaring owls in the trees. Well the highs are back to normal, I need to ask where in the world did they hide the low beam vertical adjustment? Thanks, john

John.
They do in the UK but not, I think, in the US.
On my (1997 UK) car, there's a "levelling knob" on the panel - opposite end to the hazard button - but that's not available on US (and other markets ) cars.
Does your car have a little sort-of spirit level with a bubble in it inside the headlight unit ?

Turns out yes I have the level in the headlights. Does that mean the auto leveling is not present?
Devondavid thanks but I do have that document, in fact the vertical adjustment they point to moves the high beam not the low beam (high = most intensity not used with oncoming traffic).
I keep thinking there must be an adjustment for low beam that does not move the high. Maybe there isn't one.

Just a footnote here: If your highlights have recently "dropped" be sure to check your front upper shock mounts. On my '97, I kept wondering why my headlights seemed to not project as far as they did a year ago when adjusted. Turns out both upper shock mounts were disintegrating, dropping the front end by enough to lower the lights against my garage door (@ 30 feet) by about six inches!
