Sorry, I haven't found any faults with mine. It puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel and start it up. Its got to be the most beautiful car I have ever owned.

Okay, the cup holders aren't deep enough and are therefore totally useless. I can live with that!

The U.S. speed limits. The car is so damn smooth at a 100+.

It's not often I do, but sometimes I might have a third person behind the passenger seat.

One time I had four large fully grown men in there ( all ranging between 16 and 20 stone ) for a 15 mile trip, that was interesting.

Those blokes were either drunk or insane. I can't imagine fitting four normal-sized guys into an XK8/XKR otherwise....

I'm only 5'5" and hit them often. They should have been more recessed.

I'm 6-foot-7 and have zero chance of NOT hitting those buttons with my knee. I have to fold up like a card table to drive my wife's XK8 and can't stay in it for more than about 30 minutes without my knees, neck, lower back, and size 16 feet screaming at me to get out and unfold....

It's so nice of the Brits to build a car so perfectly suited to the average Italian's height - lol.

I think the reason I don't hit those buttons is my odd entry and exit procedure. To avoid wear & tear on the seat bolsters, I drop myself onto the sill first and then ease my butt over and onto the seat cushion. On exit, I put my left hand on the sill and then "roll" my body out of the car. My knees never come close to those buttons. (And my 183,000 mile old seats still look almost new!)

Whenever I demonstrate the 5-second 0-60 mph acceleration of my XKR, the Coca-Cola can in the cup holder flies into the back seat. Yep, that really annoys me.

Neither of my Jags have cup holders. They gave us radio killers and back seat stainers.

Most annoying thing about mine is that it is an XK8 and not an R.

Also, the knee thing. I'm 5'4", young, athletic and limber and I still hit those buttons if I'm not careful.

That there's not a sound proof partition power window in between the seats of the car...

We get along well, it's just that her mouth can run on forever like a damn diesel truck at times... I fight the urge to have an ejection seat installed just for that one time too many...
hmmm

Not in Sweden, but the winter can be almost as bad where I am in Minnestota.
Actually it's pretty warm compared to what it could be, but I hate the salt and the magnesium chloride they spread on the roads. I'm told the trucks that spread that stuff can be heard rusting...
My key fobs are working by the way.
Regards,
