I can't stand it!

Tried to burn the '03 disc again. Followed EVERY procedure here: Downloaded the ISO burner; selected the slowest speed; loaded and reloaded it into the car over 6 times.

Arghhhhhh!

Guess I'm stuck with '02 data until someone donates a proven disc to me out of pity (lol)

Hi, I am from Europe also, no it is only USA and Canada. I have a Jaguar XKR 2000 with the Alpine navigator, I can't find any maps for western Europe incl. Sweden.

At least you Americans have a very similar Alpine map format in Honda/Acura's old APN2 system (Honda Black GPS Navigation DVDs), I would try to get it working, or perhaps even replace the Alpine navigator HW with one from Honda (part 39540-S0X). But I guess it will be difficult to get the cable harness correct.

Hi Mark,
I just joined the forum as I'm looking for a navigation DVD for my 2000 XK8. I've owned it for several years and am not sure if the DVD unit even works as it did not come with a navigation disk. So I've been reluctant to invest in a navigation DVD. I'm not sure if you have any copies of the navigation dvd's left, but if you do, I would like the opportunity to buy one from you.

If you do have extra copies and are willing to sell me a copy, please respond to: ronjr@uccmn.com

Thanks so much Mark,

Ron

Hi, I have installed Car-Solotions Navigation box 9200. I works very well with IGo8.

CS9200 Car Navigation Box for BMW, MB, Audi etc. with OEM Monitors

But think CS9200RV is a better choice, you can connect reverse camera also.

Contact me if you want the installation guide that I have made: hasjoberg@gmail.com

Default Help!

So, no luck for me--I've downloaded two different ISO burner programs and downloaded from toxic's link two separate times, but all I get is a "disc error " or "load disc" message. I used DVD+R burned at 1x. Any suggestions or obvious mistakes I've made? Thanks in advance!

Just in case the other links have failed, I have uploaded my ISO file to my own company's FTP site. You can find that file-link below.

If you cannot get it resolved send me a PM. You are nearby me in Arlington VA and I would be happy to make you a copy some weekend.

Right click, and "Save Link As..." initiates a download of the ISO file for me, and I tried it on a separate laptop. Please give it another go.

Matt,

Thank you for the link to the file. I was able to download it and burn it to a -DVD using Windows 7 disk burn. However, I received a disk read error after inserting the DVD into my 2000 XK8. I'm not too hip on the quality of DVD used but do you mind me telling what brand or quality of DVD you used?

Thanks in advance and thanks again for posting the link to the .iso file.

All the best,
Ron

I thought it was a +R DVD that was needed.

Use the slowest burn rate possible, as well.

I had very helpful person working here in Finland for official Jaguar import company. I was talking with him (around Aug 2013) about US market version XKR (100) 2002 and it's Nav. And I remember him saying something like "And you must remember they newer made DVD Map Disks for our region". But I never asked him did he mean Scandinavia or whole Europe.

I also have found no references for disk in Continental Europe. Only
US/CAN
GB/Ireland
GB Only

But I'm now downloading JG_D0_ADB3102.iso to see what car says about it.

Are you H2OBoy is still following this thread?
Is there original image(s) with partnumber available somewhere?
Mind you tell the part number(s) for this downloadable ISO, please?

Anyone have anything that will work in New Zealand. Or a DVD that they would not mind lending me so I can copy it.

My original disk has product numbers
Jaguar LJE2441GB / Alpine BM9JU91C

I have also the ISO image from original DVD in case someone wants to return Cat Logo to his navi.

DVD image JG_D0_ADB3102.iso burned nice to DVD+R disk and I inserted that into car (XKR 2002 Convertible 100 Edition). Old Jaguar logo image disappeared and clock came up

Version information in Navi now says:
Database code ABD3102
Software Codev4.01

I also recorded video while doing upgrade:

Photo of my original DVD and update video can be found also Microsoft OneDrive share at:http://1drv.ms/1pg27gC
There's also one list about DVD product numbers which I found somewhere while googling.

But I'm still happy to receive any European Map DVD's.
