Default Stalling problem back

Not sure if this is same as before. Symptoms- Driving at city speeds and car will suddenly shutdown, as if key was turned to off, if I shift into PARK gear shift will not budge from there. Transmission fault and traction control warnings will appear. After about 5 mins. something resets and I can go on my way. Sometimes the check engine light will appear. I also have a whining noise that seems to be coming from transmission. Have replaced ground from bell housing and had Trany serviced. Read the following codes: P0175, T1797, P1260, P1797, P0715, C1095, B2334, A331H, B1858, B1948, B1317, U1261. Does anyone have any idea what's going on. Kind of skittish about diving the last time this happened I was in a busy intersection.

How old is your battery, and what condition is it in?

Also check the battery cables and the grounding strap you changed.

Did they do a load check on the charging system?

I remember a post earlier this year describing problems similar to mine but can't find it. Ring any bells? Be nice to see if/how that was resolved.

All of your codes tell me you had a loss of electrical power. Did you have these codes prior to replacing the grounding strap to the transmission? If you did not you need to revisit the grounding strap. If you are not sure then you should make a test on the grounding system. This link should help.

If the grounding checks good then check the high power protection fuses and they are located in the trunk on the far right behind the tire.

Let us know what you come up with.

I used to have a very similar problem a couple of cars ago. Symptoms :- get in. Start up. Drives away fine no problems. Pull up. Car cuts out. Dead. Then , I kid you not, I open the drivers door and slam it shut. Car back to normal. Turns out I had a bad earth connection on the battery. Took it off cleaned it put it back on tight ........... no more problems.
