Default Timing Chain Question

Does anyone have a diagram/picture of where the timing marks are on the engine? I need to make sure that I haven't jumped a tooth when I go to install the tensioners.

There are several threads on the subject around with a search or in the DIY Sticky above.

I've gone over the threads recently and I don't recall them mentioning anything about the engine/cam timing marks; they only talked about how to install the tensioners without changing the cams/chains relative positions.

Reason for doing that way is so you don't have to disassemble the front of the engine to install all the clamps required to set the timing. I found some details to manufacture all the parts to do it but there were quite a few and easiest way is in the DIY.

No timing marks that I know of, just a lot of fixtures and clamps. But if you were going to do that you might want to do the mains too.

no timing marks AFAIK, but you will see the flats on the cams line up if the chains are correct, but that won't tell you if the primary chain has jumped a tooth. You need to use the special flywheel lock with the cam hold downs to do everything correctly.
